Thanks to our proximity to convenient public transit routes and Highway 417, guests of our hotel can experience highlights like Downtown, the Rideau Canal, Little Italy, The Parliament Buildings, the National Arts Centre, Gatineau Park, and more with great ease. And of course, you’ll find thriving Carling Avenue right at our doorstep!


Ottawa is home to many museums that are very much worth checking out. There’s the Museum of Nature, the Canadian War Museum, the Canadian Museum of History, the Museum of Aviation, the National Gallery of Canada, the Royal Canadian Mint, and more! All are just a short distance from our hotel!

Parliament Hil

Located in the heart of Downtown Ottawa, The Parliament buildings are, in many senses, the heart of the entire country. All it takes to explore the parliament grounds reflect by the eternal flame, and walk through the shadow of the mighty Peace Tower is a short bus ride on the 85 from our hotel.

Rideau Canal

In the winter, the Rideau Canal transforms into a recognizable attraction: the world’s longest skating rink. In the summer, however, it’s no less impressive, peppered with boats of all kinds, and lined by beautiful foliage and scenic bike paths. No matter the time of year, head down to the canal and experience a stunning staple of the Ottawa landscape. A short drive or bus ride on the 101 will take you there!

Gatineau Park

Just a short drive away, over the Quebec border, you’ll find sprawling Gatineau Park. In the spring and summer, explore its rolling hills and gorgeous vistas. In the fall, hike its trails and experience autumn foliage too beautiful to describe. In the winter, step into some cross country skis and enjoy a hot chocolate in any of the area’s local cafes. Year round,the park is absolutely worth periencing!

Hogs Back Falls

Just a ten-minute drive from our hotel, you’ll find the crashing waters of majestic Hog’s Back Falls. Picnic in the surrounding park, or take in the sites. Just don’t forget to bring your camera!

Little Italy

Hop on the 85 bus and moments later, say Buon Giornoto the fantastic dining, charming shops and thriving nightlife of Ottawa’s Little Italy. Located on beautiful Preston Street, which was recently reconstructed, the area is abuzz with culture and is a must see for any visitor.
