Are you going to be in Ottawa this holiday season? Then you’re in luck, because even with the pandemic continuing on, there are so many COVID-friendly events you can attend over the next month. Without further ado, check out this list of what to do in Ottawa this holiday season.

Christmas At the Farm

Head to The Log Farm in Ottawa for a day of festive holiday fun. This COVID-friendly experience is entirely outdoors and features barnyard animals, Santa’s workshop, a bonfire, Christmas music, and even a mailbox to drop your letters to Santa. There is plenty of space for social distancing, as well as a historic exhibit where you can learn how the pioneers celebrated Christmas. Christmas trees are also available for those families who have yet to buy theirs. Christmas At the Farm is on now until December 23.

Country Christmas Nighttime Drive-Through Experience

Visit Saunders Farm in Ottawa for the Country Christmas Nighttime Drive-Through Experience. At this drive-thru event, you will stay in the comfort and safety of your own vehicle while exploring this beautiful 180-year-old family farm and forest. The drive spans two kilometres in total and will include beautiful light displays and the sounds of Christmas. There is also a Farm Shop with gifts and goodies, a Night Patio where beer and mulled wine are served, and a bonfire with Beaver Tails available nearby. Country Christmas Nighttime Drive-Through Experience kicks off November 28 and goes until December 31.

December Farmers’ Market

Aberdeen Pavilion in Lansdowne Park is being taken over next month for a special December Farmers’ Market. This holiday edition of the Ottawa Farmers’ Market will feature over 60 local vendors, ranging from artisans to agricultural vendors. The indoor market is open on weekends only between November 28 and December 20, and masks are mandatory.
